Top Ten Tuesday

It has been a long while since I participated in Top Ten Tuesday, but I figured this week would be a great time to join this meme once again.

Top Ten Tuesday is created by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl and it’s purpose is that you make a top 10 list on Tuesday out of the topics she provides. However, you don’t have to stick exactly to 10, you may also put more or less books/things on the lists. Moreover, you are allowed to give an “unique” spin to the topic whenever that works better for you. Well, let’s move on to this week’s list!

This week’s topic is: Books on my Summer 2020 TBR. I’m the worst in actually sticking to a TBR, but this 10 books I would like to have finished before the leafs start falling down again.

The Hating Game by Sally Thorne

This book has been on my TBr for over a year now, oops.

All These Beautiful Strangers by Elizabeth Klehfoth

Another book that has been on my TBR for far too long.

City of Lost Souls by Cassandra Clare
City of Heavenly Fire by Cassandra Clare

I really want to finish The Mortal Instruments so I can finally start The Dark Artifices. I hear so many great things about this series!

Stamped: Racism, Antiracism, and You by Jason Reynolds

I also want to continue my education regarding #BlackLivesMatter, and I believe this is a very accessible book to do so.

Summer At the Art Cafe by Sue Mcdonagh

I meant to read this book last year as well, oops.

The Cafe by the Sea by Jenny Colgan
The Endless Beach by Jenny Colgan

I want to read these 2 books, so I can read Christmas on the Island around Christmas.

Be With Me by Jennifer Armentrout

I read the first book in this series last year, so now it’s time for the second book.

The Devil's Thief by Lisa Maxwell

This book is big and I read the first book in this series back in 2018. I really need to finish it now.

As you can see, I tend to read more contemporary, chicklit and feelgood during the spring and summer season. I want to read more books, but these are just a few I hope to read. What about you? What’s on your TBR?

  1. The Hating Game is such a fun and hilarious book and would def be a great summer read!
And ooh, I literally started Stamped from the Beginning (the original, adult version) yesterday! (the audiobook is free on spotify!)
