After reading Illuminae by Jay Kristoff and Amie Kaufman, I knew I wanted to read Aurora Rising. Illuminae unfortunately didn’t work for me because of its unusual format, but this book is written in the traditional format and the synopsis sounded appealing to me. Moreover, my expectations were set high because of all the hype the ARC of Aurora Rising was receiving. Did this book live up to the hype for me?

Representation: Cistic Fibrosis, gay rep, POC rep. Trigger warnings: (mentioning of) death, grief, loss, heartbreak.

After reading The Cruel Prince for the first time, I really didn’t like it. However, everyone was raging about The Wicked King, so I decided to reread The Cruel Prince. This time around I liked it and immediately bought The Wicked King. I finally read this highly anticipated sequel and I totally understand this high anticipation.

One of the most hyped and anticipated books of the first few months of this year was definitely The Gilded Wolves by Roshani Chokshi. I was a little on the fence about this book, but after seeing so much positivity about it I decided to grab a Kindle copy.
