I caught up on all my reviews, so it is time to do a tag! I found this tag over at Justine @ Bookishwhisps and hoarded it to fill in later. Well, now is the time I actually do this tag. I read all books in the Grisha verse and I am really curious how this show works out on Netflix. I will probably never watch it since I barely watch TV – I prefer reading – and don’t have my Netflix subscription anymore.
Nina Better Be Plus Sized: A Book with a fantastic fat rep.
I think I have to go with Leah On The Offbeat by Becky Albertalli. I can’t really judge about the rep, but it’s a bit #ownvoices. Oh and Dumplin’ by Julie Murphy too, but I haven’t read that book.
MALINA is NOT my OTP: A Book where you couldn’t get behind the romance.
Queen Of Shadows by Sarah J. Maas. A certain king and a certain witch? Nope. Or wait was it Empire Of Storms? I can’t remember.
‘The Darkling Isn’t Dead’: A Book in which you connected with the villain.
I have to go with Justine here and say Levana. She was a pure bitch to everyone on Luna and beyond, but she had everything under control so she owned the place.
Don’t You Dare Whitewash!: A Book to television/movie adaptation where character’s ethnicity was respected.
The Hate U Give. The cast was 99% black, just how it should be. Only Chris and Starr’s friends were not casted by black actors, but they aren’t black in the book either.
The King of Scars: A Book by a beloved author you are super excited about.
The Dutch translation of Kingdom Of Ash and the new ACOTAR book whenever that comes out.
Inej & Kaz: Fan Cast Your Faves.
I can’t fan cast since I literally don’t know any actor by name. That’s how much I watch movies or TV.
No Mourners. No Funerals: A Book quote that has stuck with you.
Literally the only one I can remember because I suck at book quotes: “To the stars who listen and the dreams that are answered.”
Tag your faves and spread the hype!
As always, you may take this tag over if you want!
