It has been a little while since I graduated from high school, eight years to be exact. When I found this tag over at @bibi’s book blog, I instantly knew I wanted to do this one. So, here we go!
A+ on the test: A book or character that makes you smile.
I have to laugh out a lot when I’m meeting Kenji from the Shatter Me series by Tahereh Mafi. His scenes with Juliette are often so funny.
Sports team: A fictional family that you want to be a part of.
Ugh what a tough one! I mostly read fantasy and those families are either non-existent or horrible. But if I really have to choose, Simon’s family in Simon Vs. The Homo Sapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli is nice.
Class president: A book that tries to make a difference.
The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas. Not my most favourite book ever, but still very important.
High school sweetheart: A book character you have a crush on.
I think many people would agree with me, but…… RHYS.
Prom night: A book with a beautiful cover.
I heard that the cover of Everless by Sara Holland is beautfiul.
Spring break: A book you can always turn to when you need to escape.
I’m not much of a rereader, so this question will remain unanswered.
School lunch: A book character(s) you want to have lunch with.
The same answer from another tag (about a high tea) applies here. The Rampion crew and the Night Court inner circle.
Hallowean party: A character you would like to be for one day.
Hmmmm. I really have no clue. I’d rather not be a villain to be honest.
School bully: A villain you don’t want to go to school with.
Voldemort, Amarantha and Ianthe (ACOTAR series), Queen Levana, princes Maram (Mirage). Just to name a few. You know you will come across a lot of villains when reading a lot of fantasy.
Graduation: A book with a bittersweet conclusion.
Children Of Blood And Bone by Tomi Adeyemi as I have no idea whether the group accomplished their mission.
