Another week, another few books read. Actually, I put one on my DNF pile. Are you curious what I’ve read last week, what I am currently reading and what I will be reading next? Just find out by clicking on the “read more” button!

Last week
Last week I told you guys that I was reading A Thousand Pieces Of You by Claudia Gray and that I was struggling big time with it. Well guess what, I DNF’ed it last Wednesday because I became more reluctant to read further. Furthermore, I really wanted to start with The Grisha series by Leigh Bardugo and therefore I read and finished Shadow & Bone. You can find my review on here tomorrow. Besides, I continued reading The Keeper Of Lost Causes, but I’m far from finished.

Currently reading
Obviously The Keeper Of Lost Causes by Jussi Adler-Olsen. Although I made really good progress, I still have over 30% of it left. I really hope to finish this one by the end of this week.

Second, i finally started Ready Player One by Ernest Cline. The timing was far from perfect – one day before ACOFAS – and honestly I’m really unsure whether I’m going to like this one and therefore finish it. My gutt feeling says nope nope nope, but I’m less than an hour into the audiobook so I really have to give it a chance before judging.

And then, the day all Sarah J. Maas fans have been waiting for has arrived. A Court Of Frost And Starlight is finally here! I dropped all my other books and immediately started reading this one. I couldn’t wait any longer, so I decided to listen to the English audiobook. The Dutch version will be out in 2 weeks, and of course I’ll still buy it. Whilst writing this blogpost, I’m already halfway through this lovely novella and I’m trying to save myself some Night Court and Velaris for tomorrow (today when published). But I have to admit, it’s very very hard.

Next week
Next week I will decide what to do with Ready Player One. Furthermore, I’m finally picking up Fractured by dani Etkins. A book I accidentally have been postponing since February. What else should I read? I am not sure yet, but I want to pick something up that has been on my TBR for over a year now. I’m doubting between Anna & The French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins and Hate List by Jennifer Brown.

Which of these mentioned books should I read first? Furthermore, what have you guys been reading last, now and next?

  1. Iknow I commented on your goodreads updated this morning xD But I picked up fractured thinking; ” wow ! this sounds really sweet ! ”

When actually early last year I picked it up and … nope. the way it’s just back and forth between two different realities (if I remember well) just lost me big time and I ended up DNFing half way as I was completely lost, didn’t wanted to read it, AND I also have no clues of what I was reading XD mom borrowed it after and.. she said it was okay but confusing.

Still doubting what to do with it, because someone else says it becomes more clear throughout the story. But the middle part is the best they said. Not sure yet!
