WWW-Wednesday is a meme I’ve seen on a lot of blogs, so I have no idea who came up with it first. The purpose of this meme is pretty simple: tell us what you have read last week, what you are currently reading and what you will be reading next. You do so by answering the following questions:

  • What have you read last week?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What will you be reading next?

What have you read last week?

At first, I was reading The queen of nothing by Holly Black and my review will be up tomorrow. I liked this book although I still have some issues with it.

Afterwards, I read Now is everything by Amy Giles for an online book club. I had a feeling that I would finish it at the end of the weekend and I was totally right. My review will be up on Saturday.

Finally, I read The seven or eight deaths of Stella Fortuna by Juliet Grames. I really didn’t know what to expect from this book, but I ended up enjoying it. My review will be up on Monday, after my Bookending Winter prompt.

What are you currently reading?

I’m still busy with my reread of Throne of glass, I’m taking the time for that.

Furthermore, I’m reading One small thing by Erin Watt. I really liked “The Royals”, but a few chapters into this book, I know that I won’t like this one as much. It just doesn’t seem to grab me that much and therefore doesn’t make me eager to continue reading.

What will you be reading next?

This one is tough. I will start a group read of The night circus by Erin Morgenstern on Sunday and I hope I will like this book way better than The starless sea.

Besides, I want to read Muse of nightmares by Laini Taylor, but I’m not sure whether reading books by two authors with whymsical writing is a good idea. So, I guess I will really start The eighth life by Nino Haratischwili after all.

How was your week in reading?
