It’s already August, time flies! Besides the fact that it’s a new month, it’s also another Wednesday. So, how was my reading week? Spoiler: Less productive than I hoped and this is mainly to blame on the extreme heat we faced on Thursday and Friday. However, I stuck to my TBR, wow!

Last week

Letters To The Lost is a book I ended up scan-reading. I was so bored, wow. This was a big disappointment. My review will be on the blog on August 24 as I will have bookclub about this one on the 23rd.

Wow, wow, wow. Everyone was SO right about this book! I already pre-ordered the Dutch edition of A Darker Shade Of Magic and it seriously felt so good to have a 5 star book in my hands again after three disappointed reads.

I was able to start Girl At War by sara Novic earlier than expected as I scan-read Letters To The Lost. I spent nearly the whole of Saturday reading this book and it really took me by surprise.

Currently reading

I wanted to read Onyx by Jennifer L. Armentrout, so I am reading Onyx by Jennifer L. Armentrout.

I’m still rereading Winter and I really want to make some real progress this week. However, this is the biggest book of the entire The Lunar Chronicles series and doesn’t have my main focus since it’s a reread, so I don’t really expect to be able finishing it this week.

It’s happening, I’m finally reading The Seven Husbands Of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid. So far, so good!

I really should start Three Dark Crowns by Kendare Blake.

Time for a good thriller again and The Night Stalker by Robert Bryndza is making me curious, even more so that the third installment of this series is releasing in October overhere.

So far my weekly reading recap. How was your week in reading?
