(EN) The 20 Questions Book Tag

Wow, this probably is the longest tag I have ever done! Found this one at Sakhile @Sakhile Whispers and here we go!

How many books are too many books in a book series?
This is a tough one. It honestly depends on the greatness of the series. For some 6 is the best, for some 3. However, Pretty Little Liars has 16 books and they all became samey samey so that was way too much. For that one, 8 was enough.

How do you feel about cliffhangers?
They are in all ways annoying. Good or bad. They are the worst whenever the next book is not out yet and they are not done in stand alone’s.

Hardback or paperback?
Ebook. But if I wasn’t dependent on these, I would say hardback.

Favourite book?
This question is way and way too hard to answer.

Least favourite book?
Hmmmmm…. I thought that this question was easier, but no. I have to go with The Magician by Raymond E. Feist. I couldn’t get through this big book and that didn’t have to do with the length. No, the story was SO boring.

Love triangles, yes or no?
Nope, I prefer not. It’s an old trick and we have seen enough of them now.

The most recent book you just couldn’t finish?
The Final Girls by Riley Sager.. I DNF’ed that one halfway through. I had some books I scan read, but didn’t DNF.

A book you’re currently reading?
Strange The Dreamer by Laini Taylor.

Last book you recommended to someone?
I barely recommend books to others directly, because my friends are non-readers. But I think I did indirectly through my reviews. However, I’m not sure that people read a book because of my review, so this question remains quite unanswered.

Oldest book you’ve read? (publication date)
Goodreads is messing this up, but I guess it’s The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, which I, apparently, DNF’ed.

Newest book you’ve read? (publication date)
Opal by Jennifer L. Armentrout. The Dutch translation will be released on Tuesday but the ebook became available for purchase earlier, so yeah.

Favourite author?
I have to go with Sarah J. Maas for now.

Buying books or borrowing books?
I pretty much buy all my books, but I borrow some.

A book you dislike that everyone else seems to love?
The Perks Of Being A Wallflower by Steven Chbowsky.

Bookmarks or dog-ears?
Bookmarks.

A book you can always reread?
I suck at rereading LOL.

Can you read while hearing music?
Yes. I hate silence.

One POV or multiple POVs?
It really depends on how it’s executed.

Do you read a book in one sitting or over multiple days?
I tend to read books over multiple days. Simply because I lack concentration to finish it in one sitting. I get bored and need to do something else.

Who do you tag?
Everyone who wants to do this tag.
