Mini-review: Cassandra Clare -Clockwork Prince

Mini-review: Cassandra Clare -Clockwork Prince

2019 is the year I finally started reading the books by Cassandra Clare. I read them in recommended order, so I read the first three books of The mortal instruments and then I dove into The infernal devices. I just finished the second book in this series.

The Friday Five: authors who should form a writers duo

The Friday Five: authors who should form a writers duo

The Friday Five is a weekly meme hosted by Joost @ Nerdygeekyfanboy in which several Dutch bloggers make top 5 lists according to a certain topic. I haven’t participated in a while because the topics were not that appealing to me, but this week’s topic, suggested by Joany @ Craving Pages, sounded really interesting. We all know Erin Watt, Nicci French and Chrristina Lauren, all examples of author duo’s. Which authors do I think should form a duo, Project-based or forever?

Review: Renée Ahdieh – The Beautiful

Review: Renée Ahdieh – The Beautiful

When I first saw The Beautiful appearing on social media, I was curious. It’s about vampires and I really wanted to go back in the days and read a good young adult novel about vampires. All reviews I’ve read were glowing, so I decided to go ahead and read it.

WWW-Wednesday #33 | 6 November 2019

WWW-Wednesday is a meme I’ve seen on a lot of blogs, so I have no idea who came up with it first. The purpose of this meme is pretty simple: tell us what you have read last week, what you are currently reading and what you will be reading next. You do so by answering the following questions:

  • What have you read last week?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What will you be reading next?

Mini reviews: The seven sisters serie by Lucinda Riley

Mini reviews: The seven sisters serie by Lucinda Riley

I’m known for reading a lot of Young Adult books, but I like to expand my horizon and to read different genres as well. It was in September 2018 that I started reading The Seven Sisters by Lucinda Riley, because everyone kept raging about it in a good way and the books were literally everywhere. However, I deleted my first review of the first book because A) it was trash and B) I found it more suitable to write one giant review post with all mini reviews. This blog post will be updated and re-published once I finish The sun sister, which will be out here in February 2020. And then again once the seventh book in this series is out.

Gelezen in | oktober 2019

It has been a while, but I’m going to try and write more English reviews again. So, let’s start with Skyward by Brandon Sanderson. Can you believe that this is my first book by this authro? He has written and published so many books already and I haven’t read any of them. Well, I finally listened to the Skyward audiobook and I don’t understand why I didn’t pick up one of Sanderson’s books before.

Flashback Friday: Hoeveel heb ik eigenlijk gelezen? #4

On Kwante‘s I found the series “shopaholic exposed”. She took it over from Candyce & Isabelle, who called this series “looking back on our bookhauls”. The goals of this meme is to look back on your old bookhauls and to check whether you actually have read the books you added back then or not. As I often have huge hauls it’s time to get myself exposed and therefore I’m taking over this series.

Bookhaul | oktober 2019

Bookhaul | oktober 2019

Mini-recensies: Hartstocht // Shadows // Reveal Me
